About

A boutique sustainable graphic design,
web, art and print studio established in 2008 by graphic designer, artist and teacher Lisa Major, for distinctive sustainable design and printing with a handmade touch.

We call it positive lovely communication not only because the design principles we apply and the materials employed are kinder to the environment, but also because there’s a loveliness inherent in these more sustainable processes and the end results.

Subgreen is a creative team who still like to incorporate some more hands-on and timeless techniques, such as hand-drawn elements, watercolours, and hand printing.

It’s about humanising design, and creating unique, lovingly-made projects that people can relate to, with a warmth,

depth and texture that’s rarely achieved working solely with digital tools.

Subgreen can be found at Studio 42, at The Mill Castlemaine and we work with clients all over Australia + overseas. If you'd like a design quote you can also fill in our online design brief form here or website brief here

Pop by our stall 582 at the Vintage Bazaar or Subgreen Gallery (Studio 42) on weekends for unique services + products we've created for our clients and a few gems we've created as well. Just to make your day that bit lovelier too. Design + Printmaking Workshops dates and information coming soon.
